CBS placed first on Sunday in viewers and adults 25-54, led by the season finales of The Amazing Race and THE MENTALIST, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 5.
From 8:00-10:00 PM,
The Amazing Race two-hour season finale was first in households (5.4/09), viewers (8.95m), adults 25-54 (3.1/07) and adults 18-49 (2.3/06).
At 10:00 PM, the season finale of
The Mentalist was first in households (5.8/10), viewers (9.17m), adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05). Compared to last week,
The Mentalist was up +4% in households (from 5.6/09), +9% in adults 25-54 (from 2.2/05), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.6/04) and added +380,000 viewers (from 8.79m, +4%).
For the night,
CBS was first in households (5.9/10), viewers (9.39m) and adults 25-54 (2.7/07), and was second in adults 18-49 (1.9/05).
CBS was first in households, viewers and adults 25-54 for the 10th consecutive week.
