In first quarter 2015, CBS THIS MORNING SATURDAY posted the Network's largest Saturday morning news first quarter audience to date. The broadcast was up +9% from last year (2.19m from 2.01m), according to Nielsen most current ratings.
CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY also saw a +20% increase in adults 25-54 (0.6/04 from 0.5/04), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, compared to first quarter 2014.
For the first time,
CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY delivered more than two million viewers for the second consecutive first quarter.
On March 28,
CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY posted a +4% increase in viewers compared to last year (2.02m from 1.94m), and was even in adults 25-54 (0.5/04).
CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY closed the gap with
NBC by more than 700,000 viewers, and with
ABC by nearly 900,000 viewers.
Season-to-date,
CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is up +20% in adults 25-54 (0.6/04 from 0.5/04) and +7% in viewers (2.13m from 1.98m), and is the only Saturday morning network news broadcast posting gains in either measure.
