CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning news broadcast to post increases among viewers, adults 25-54 and women 25-54 during the November 2016 Sweep, while ABC and NBC saw declines in those same demos, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.

CBS THIS MORNING posted its best November Sweep delivery in viewers in more than two decades and its best November Sweep adult 25-54 rating in eight years (since November 2008).

This marks the closest CBS has been to NBC in viewers in a November Sweep in over two decades and the closest CBS has been to ABC in viewers in a November Sweep in 18 years (since November 1998).

CBS THIS MORNING delivered 3.80 million viewers (up +8% from 3.53m), was up +11% in adults 25-54 (1.0 rating from 0.9), up +10% in women 25-54 (1.1 rating from 1.0) and even in women 18-49 compared to the November 2015 Sweep. At the same time, ABC was down -5% in viewers, down -7% in adults 25-54, down -11% in women 25-54 and even in women 18-49. NBC was down in all measures: -4% in viewers, down -6% in adults 25-54, down -10% in women 25-54 and down -7% in women 18-49.

CBS THIS MORNING gained over a quarter of a million (+268,000) viewers compared to the November 2015 Sweep, and closed the viewership gap with ABC by over half a million viewers (521,000) viewers and cut the deficit with the NBC by 425,000 viewers compared to last November.
