CBS THIS MORNING Posts +29% Gain in Adults 25-54

CBS THIS MORNING posted double-digit percentage gains in adults 25-54 (+29%, 0.9/07 from 0.7/06), viewers (+17%, 3.50m from 2.99m), and women 18-49 (+40%, 0.7/06 from 0.5/04) compared to last year, according to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings For the week ending May 29. CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning news broadcast to post gains in any of these measures.

CBS THIS MORNING added +510,000 viewers year-over-year, bringing the viewership gap with NBC to less than one million viewers (960,000) viewers and putting the CBS broadcast in its closest competitive position with NBC in nearly 21 years (since the week ending August 19, 1994).

Television year-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING continues to be the only network morning news program to post a viewer gain (+9%, 3.39m from 3.11m), and the only program to maintain its adults 25-54 rating (0.9/07) compared to a year ago.

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY was the only Saturday morning network news broadcast to post year-to-year gains in viewers (+3%, 2.03m from 1.97m) on Saturday, May 30. Television year-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is up +20% in adults 25-54 (0.6/04 from 0.5/04), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, and +8% in viewers (2.11m from 1.95m), and is the only Saturday morning network news broadcast posting gains in either measure.
