For the week ending May 17, CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning news program to post year-to-year gains among adults 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/07 from 0.8/06), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, viewers (+18%, 3.67m from 3.12m) and women 18-49 (+20%, 0.6/06 from 0.5/04) compared to a year ago.
According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings,
CBS THIS MORNING gained more than half a million viewers (+550,000) compared to the same week last year, and closed the viewer deficit with
NBC by 690,000 viewers.
For the 2014-15 season-to-date,
CBS THIS MORNING continues to be the only network morning news program to post a viewer gain (+9%, 3.38 from 3.11m), and the only program to maintain its adults 25-54 rating and women 25-54 rating compared to a year ago.
