CBS' THE TALK Hosts First-Ever Social Media Premiere Week, Now thru 9/14

CBS's THE TALK will host its first-ever social media week from today, Sept. 10 – Friday, Sept. 14 with a full week of events to engage fans and bring them into the conversation.  Each day during the third season premiere week, "THE TALK Gets Social," with hosts participating in live chats following the East Coast broadcasts of the show.  Sharon Osbourne will kick off "THE TALK Gets Social" week on Sept. 10 with a video chat following the live premiere show in which she and the hosts will appear makeup-free with celebrity guest Jamie Lee Curtis.  

To participate in "THE TALK Gets Social" week, fans can follow on Twitter or log on tohttp://connect.cbs.com/events at the scheduled start times, below. Users will be able to log in using their Facebook or Twitter accounts to ask the hosts questions, and can also participate in the live chats via Twitter using #TalkLiveChat or the host's Twitter handle when submitting questions.

Throughout season three, THE TALK hosts will continue to include their viewers in the conversation at the table with daily #TweetTheTalk segments, reading and commenting on live tweets and Facebook postings about the topics of the day.  TheTalk.com and the show's Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram pages will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes photos, videos, trivia, giveaways and more.

CBS's daytime talk show features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who examine current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, how-to demos and appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.

CBS Daytime has been #1 in the daypart for 26 consecutive years, featuring a lineup that is a balance of dramas, game shows and talk. In addition to THE TALK, the Network's daytime line-up includes the #1 daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, as well as THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, television's longest-running game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT, and LET'S MAKE A DEAL.
