CBS Sweeps Nominations for DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and THE TALK exclusively revealed the "42nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards" nominations live today on the CBS Television Network. CBS swept the Daytime Emmy nominations with 62 nods, more than any other network.

The #1 daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS received 25 nominations. In addition, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL received 19, THE TALK received seven, LET'S MAKE A DEAL, THE PRICE IS RIGHT and CBS THIS MORNING received two each and CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD received one. Shows from THE CBS DREAM TEAM, IT'S EPIC! Saturday Morning lineup received four.

CBS Daytime's entire entertainment lineup was honored, with both THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL receiving nominations for Outstanding Drama Series. THE TALK was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host, and THE PRICE IS RIGHT was nominated for Outstanding Game Show.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD received a nomination for Outstanding Morning Program. In addition, CBS News' CBS THIS MORNING received two nominations, for Outstanding Morning Program and Outstanding Directing in a Talk Show/Entertainment News or Morning Program.

The Network's Saturday morning lineup received four nominations, with three for THE HENRY FORD'S INNOVATION NATION. LUCKY DOG's Brandon McMillan received a nomination for Outstanding Lifestyle/Travel/Children's Series Host.

Other top nods include Outstanding Lead Actor nominations for Y&R's Christian LeBlanc and Billy Miller, and Outstanding Lead Actress for Y&R's Gina Tognoni. Outstanding Supporting Actress nominations went to Y&R's Amelia Heinle and Elizabeth Hendrickson, and B&B's Linsey Godfrey. B&B's Scott Clifton and Jacob Young, and Y&R's Kristoff St. John received nods for Outstanding Actor. Y&R's Hunter King and Max Ehrich received nods for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series and for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, respectively.

CBS Daytime has been #1 in the day-part for 28 consecutive years, featuring a balance of dramas, game shows and talk. The Network's daytime lineup includes network television's #1 daytime program and longest-running game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT and the #1 daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, as well as THE TALK, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and LET'S MAKE A DEAL.

Encores of this morning's special episode of THE TALK will air on Pop today, Tuesday, March 31 (8:00 PM and 11:00 PM, ET/PT) featuring the Daytime Emmy Awards nominations announcement. The "42nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards" ceremony airs live exclusively on Pop on Sunday, April 26 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT). THE TALK will continue the celebration with its fourth annual "After Party" on Monday, April 27 when they honor some of the night's biggest winners. Guest names will be announced following the Daytime Emmy Awards early Monday morning, April 27.
