CBS won its fifth consecutive week in viewers to start the season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 23.
CBS was tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.0) and adults 25-54 (2.6). This marks the network's fourth first-place finish in adults 25-54 in the last five weeks and third first-place finish in adults 18-49 this season. Compared to the same week last year,
CBS was up +5% in adults 18-49 and +2% in viewers.
The Network had four of the top five broadcasts in viewers and six of the top 10 led by NCIS, the week's top scripted broadcast and broadcast drama.
THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week's top comedy. KEVIN CAN WAIT was the week's top new comedy, and BULL was the week's #1 new series.
CBS won Friday in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the fifth consecutive week behind time period leaders freshman drama MACGYVER, HAWAII FIVE-0, which is posting across-the-board growth from a year ago, and BLUE BLOODS, which remains the night's most watched program.
