CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR airs a special presentation of COLLEGE FOOTBALL CONFIDENTIAL: ARKANSAS, a new series on CBS Sports Network that brings fans behind-the-scenes with exclusive access to one of the top SEC football programs today, Sept. 29 (1:00-2:00 PM, ET).
CBS Sports Network’s cameras have been embedded with the Arkansas team since preseason camp. After head coach Bobby Petrino was fired in April, the Razorbacks entered the season ranked eighth behind the talent of All-SEC quarterback Tyler Wilson, and Heisman-hopeful running back Knile Davis. The one-hour special documents the team under head coach John L Smith, whose 10-month contract is an anomaly in college football, and explores the difficulty of rising again after controversy and misfortune have derailed a promising season. Adam Zucker narrates. Emilie Deutsch serves as coordinating producer.
