CBS Sports Network has extended its partnership with the Atlantic 10 agreeing to a new long-term deal through the 2020-2021 season, it was announced today.

The agreement with CBS Sports Network provides for significant national exposure for men’s and women’s basketball including regular-season and championship coverage. Through the deal, CBS Sports Network will get high-quality conference and non-conference game selections, and will air more national A-10 basketball games than any other television network.

CBSSN will air at least 25 regular-season men’s games and eight women’s games annually, as well as the men’s and women’s semi-finals of the Atlantic 10 Championship. CBS Sports has broadcast the A-10 Men’s Championship since 2010.

“The Atlantic 10 has been a terrific partner and we’re proud to continue showcasing action from one of the top college basketball conferences for many years,” said Dan Weinberg, Senior Vice President, Programming, CBS Sports Network. “Our partnership has been an unquestioned success. And with the quality of basketball throughout the conference now stronger than ever, we’re excited to annually feature an extensive line-up of games.”

“I am excited to begin this new long-term agreement with CBS Sports Network. The Atlantic 10 Conference was one of the first Division I conferences to partner with CBS Sports Network, and we have built a strong partnership of trust, growing together while building a national brand,” stated Bernadette V. McGlade, Commissioner. “The opportunity to televise all A-10 sporting events on the CBS Sports Network nationally markedly enhances our distribution, delivering A-10 basketball to many more alums and fans, and extends the A-10 brand in every media market of the league.”

CBS Sports Network again will showcase comprehensive Atlantic 10 college basketball action for the 2012-13 season featuring 44 total games (34 men’s and 10 women’s). The Atlantic 10 and CBS Sports Network first entered into its partnership for the 2006-07 athletic season.
