CBS Series 'The Mentalist' Sees Week-to-Week Gains in Viewers and Adults 18-49

THE MENTALIST and CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION posted week-to-week increases in viewers and key demographics while the Network's comedy block dominated its non-"Idol" competition, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Feb. 17.

THE BIG BANG THEORY was second in households (7.5/12), viewers (12.48m), adults 25-54 (5.0/13) and adults 18-49 (3.7/11).

The season finale of $#*! MY DAD SAYS was second in households (6.0/10), viewers (9.78m), adults 25-54 (3.7/10) and adults 18-49 (2.6/08).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, featuring guest star Justin Bieber, was first in households (8.1/13) and viewers (13.27m); it was second in adults 25-54 (4.1/10, -0.2 behind ABC) and averaged 2.9/08 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week, CSI was up +4% in both households (from 7.8/12) and adults 18-49 (from 2.8/07), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.8/09) and added +630,000 viewers (from 12.64m, +5%).

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.2/16), viewers (14.94m), adults 25-54 (4.3/12) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +2% in both households (from 9.0/16) and adults 25-54 (from 4.2/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/07) and added +80,000 viewers (from 14.86m).

For the night, CBS was second in households (8.0/13), viewers (13.11m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09).
