CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD goes the last room rented by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, TX before assassinating President John F. Kennedy. Tracy Smith finds little has changed since 1963.

"He was just a regular guy," says homeowner Patricia Ann Puckett-Hall tells Smith of Oswald in an interview for CBS SUNDAY MORNING to be broadcast July 21, 2013 (9:00 AM ET) on the CBS Television Network. Hall says CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the first network TV show to visit the room in nearly 50 years.

Hall's grandmother, Gladys Johnson, owned the home when Oswald lived there.

"My grandmother appreciated the fact that he kept his room neat and clean," Hall tells Smith. "That he didn't monopolize the bathroom, 'cause when you've got five roomers sharing one bath, you don't need somebody to monopolize."

After Kennedy was shot, Oswald returned to the home briefly and left forever. Hall says her grandmother, captured in an iconic photo in the room shortly after the incident, was embarrassed she let someone of Oswald's character into her home.

Oswald's bed remains in the house as do many of the original furnishings, according to Puckett-Hall. The home is now for sale, and Hall hopes someone might turn it into a museum. She was just 11 in 1963, but her memories of Oswald are vivid. She recalls one incident when her two brothers were fooling around outside.

Oswald, she said, told them to listen closely. "'You're brothers. Gotta love each other, take care of each other," Hall recalls Oswald saying. "And he said, 'Don't do anything that would ever harm another human being.'"

Smith's interview and visit to Oswald's last home will be broadcast July 21, 2013. CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
