CBS SUNDAY MORNING Posts Season-to-Date Gains in Adults 25-54

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH Charles Osgood was the #1 Sunday morning news program in adults 25-54, the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 10, 2013.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.6/11 with 5.13m viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +7% in viewers (from 4.78m), up +6% in households (from 3.4/10) and even in adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07), up +7% in viewers (5.69m from 5.33m) and up +8% in households (4.0/11 from 3.7/10), compared to last year.
Sunday's broadcast featurEd Barry Petersen's report on possible changes ahead for the Catholic Church under a new Pope; Mo Rocca's interview with legendary actress Rita Moreno; Tracy Smith's profile of Lena Dunham, the creator, star and writer of the critically praised drama, "Girls"; and Anthony Mason's interview with Trey Anastasio, singer for the rock band Phish, who is now trying his hand on Broadway as the co-composer of the musical, "Hands on a Hardbody."

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
