It was CBS SUNDAY MORNING's 16th consecutive season at #1 and the fourth straight with year-over-year audience growth.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING finished the broadcast year delivering 5.92 million viewers and a 1.3/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the previous year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +%1 in viewers (from 5.84m) and even in adults 25-54.

For the final Sunday of the broadcast year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was also #1 in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sept. 18. The broadcast delivered 5.72 million viewers (up +9% from 5.23m) and a 1.3/07 with adults 25-54 (+30% from 1.0/06 last year).

The Sept. 18 broadcast was anchored by Charles Osgood and featured Anthony Mason's interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Ringo Star; Susan Spencer's look at whether luck is purely random; a preview of the fall season in movies and art; Lee Cowan's interview with NCIS: NEW ORLEANS star Scott Bakula; Mo Rocca's profile of CBS News makeup artist Riccie Johnson; Conor Knighton's report from Denali National Park; and Steve Hartman's look at a town struggling with the loss of a historic tree.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
