Anchored by Jane Pauley, the broadcast delivered 5.20 million viewers and 1.0/06 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news.
Sunday's broadcast featured Mark Strassmann's cover story on the challenges of finding skilled labor as cities set out to rebuild following Hurricanes Irma and Harvey. Jane Pauley profiled actor, comedian and singer Bill Murray. Mark Phillips explored the work of Dutch abstract artist Piet Mondrian. Tony Dokoupil interviewed bestselling author Dan Brown. Lee Cowan sat down with actress - and successful businesswoman - Sofia Vergara. Mo Rocca talked with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and others about the speeches of late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Martha Teichner reported on a new children's book based on a recently discovered manuscript written by Mark Twain. Faith Salie weighed in on the life of Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner.
