CBS SUNDAY MORNING Finishes 2013-14 Season as #1 Sunday Morning News Program

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD finished the 2013-2014 television season as the #1 Sunday morning news program with viewers and adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news, according to Nielsen most current ratings. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its largest audience delivery for a season since the advent of people meters in 1987.

For the season, most current, CBS SUNDAY delivered six million viewers and a 1.5/07 with adults 25-54. Compared to last year, CBS SUNDAY was up +6% in viewers (from 5.67m) and even in adults 25-54.

During the May 2014 sweep, CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.81m viewers (up +4% from 5.57m). CBS SUNDAY MORNING also posted its largest audience in a May sweep since the advent of people meters.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING ended the season with a special "The Design Issue" anchored by Osgood from Santa Fe, N.M., which was watched by 5.88m viewers and posted a 1.5/08 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for May 18. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +4% in viewers.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
