CBS Plans NCIS: LA, HAWAII FIVE-O Crossover Episodes

Appearing at the Television Critics Association semi-annual press tour, executives of CBS revealed that there will be a two-part crossover episode of their hit drama series NCIS:LA and HAWAII FIVE-O sometime during the all-important May sweeps period.

The storyline will begin on a Monday airing of HAWAII FIVE-O and then conclude the following night on an episode of NCIS:LA. The plot will involve an outbreak of a lethal virus which a killer may be using as his murder weapon. This will not be the first time that characters from the two shows have crossed over. In a previous season, NCIS:LA star Daniela Rush made a guest appearance on HAWAII FIVE-O.

At the press conference, producer Gary Glasberg spoke about the upcoming 200th episode of his hit show NCIS. Revealed Glasberg, "... it very much is about a pivotal moment - it starts with a pivotal moment for [Harmon's character] Gibbs that he faces. The episode is called ‘Life Before His Eyes,’ and it literally looks back at key moments throughout nine years of NCIS where decisions have had to be made and, had people gone one direction instead of another, that ?? how the world would have ended up. And it brings back familiar faces, old faces, faces fans aren’t going to think they’d see again. It was a lot of fun.”
