CBS Orders THE MISTAKE Comedy Pilot from FRIENDS, SEINFELD Writers

Deadline just announced CBS's latest pilot pickup -- THE MISTAKE -- a comedy penned by husband-wife duo Shana Goldberg-Meehan and Scott Silveri (Friends), and David Mandel (Seinfeld). Andy Ackerman will direct.

THE MISTAKE centers on a couple with grown-up kids who suddenly find themselves pregnant.

Goldberg-Meehan and Silveri last worked together on the Friends spinoff Joey. Silveri separately created the series Perfect Couples and Go On, with Goldberg-Meehan spearheading Better With You.

Mandel currently works as executive producer for Curb Your Enthusiasm and has also produced the TV movie Clear History and the TV series Clerks.
