Variety reports that Matt LeBlanc has been offered a series commitment by CBS for its upcoming pilot project I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND. The deal guarantees the former 'Friends' star a generous penalty fee if the project is not picked up to series.
According to the site, the actor will portray "a contractor who learns that raising his kids is more challenging than expected when his wife goes back to work." LeBlanc will also serve as executive producer along with Michael Rotenberg and husband and wife writing team Jeff & Jackie Filgo, who wrote the script.
As BWW recently announced, LeBlanc was named host of the UK's "Top Gear" alongside presenter Chris Evans. He also can currently be seen in Showtime's "Episodes," in which he plays an exaggerated version of himself. The show will begin filming its fifth season in London this April. Should the latest project come to fruition, LeBlanc's 'Friends' co-star Matthew Perry currently stars in the CBS reboot of THE ODD COUPLE.Photo Credit: Walter McBride / WM Photos
