BIG BROTHER will introduce tonight a new interactive feature in which Houseguests will wear wireless activity trackers, allowing fans to monitor their every step via CBS.com. Activity updates will rank the Houseguests from most active to least active, resulting in potential rewards or punishments throughout the season based on their liveliness or laziness. Host Julie Chen will announce this new feature to viewers during the live eviction show tonight, Thursday, July 10 (9:01-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
BIG BROTHER fans will have the opportunity to not only track the Houseguests' every move, but also their physical data, including weight, number of steps taken, miles traveled, calories burned and active minutes. Each of the Houseguests' personal activity levels can be monitored on CBS.com (http://www.cbs.com/bbtracker).
In addition, activity updates on the Houseguests will be available on the BIG BROTHER Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/BigBrother) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/cbsbigbrother) accounts.
Fitbit Flex™ Wireless Activity Tracking Wristbands are provided by Fitbit.
BIG BROTHER airs Sundays (8:01-9:00 PM ET/PT), Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), and the live eviction show hosted by Julie Chen on Thursdays (9:01-10:00 PM live ET / delayed PT).
BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 76 HD cameras and more than 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000. BIG BROTHER is produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol USA.
