CBS Names Jonathan Sarrow SVP Television Networks Distribution

Jonathan Sarrow has been named Senior Vice President of Television Networks Distribution, CBS Corporation, it was announced today by Ray Hopkins, President of the department. In this position, Sarrow will focus on the negotiation of carriage fees of CBS-owned properties with distribution platforms such as cable, satellite and telco companies.

"Jonathan brings a wealth of industry experience to this position, including valuable relationships with our distribution partners," said Hopkins. "Carriage fees are an increasingly important part of CBS's growth strategy, and as we maximize the value of our content, it's important we have a veteran like Jonathan helping negotiate these deals. I look forward to working with him in this role."

Sarrow served previously as Vice President, Distribution, National Accounts for FOX Networks, where he managed the relationships of major distributors across multiple platforms. He previous worked as Vice President, Business Affairs, where he concentrated on distribution negotiations and potential acquisitions, as well as regulatory issues, contract compliance and operations. Before that, Sarrow worked as Director, International Distribution for New Line Cinema, where he handled international sales and administration of licensing for the company's film library. Sarrow started his career at New World Television, working in both domestic and international TV syndication.

A graduate of Loyola Law School, Sarrow will relocate to New York from his home in Encino, Calif., for this new position.
