RUSH HOUR has found its home.
According to Deadline, CBS has landed the small screen adaptation of the Jackie Chan/Chris Rock buddy cop comedy, and granted it a pilot.
The series, like the first film, "will follow a stoic, by-the-book Hong Kong police officer, played in the features by Jackie Chan, assigned to a case in Los Angeles, where he's forced to work with a cocky black LAPD officer, originally played by Chris Tucker, who has no interest in a partner."'
WB's project hails from COUGAR TOWN's Bill Lawrence and Blake McCormick, and will be executive produced by Brett Ratner and rthur Sarkissian.
RUSH HOUR marks CBS' second large pick-up in recent weeks for the next television season. Last month, the network ordered Greg Berlanti's SUPERGIRL straight to series.
