Scott Pelley will sit down with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for an interview to be broadcast tonight, Feb. 18 on the CBS EVENING NEWS (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.
Pelley will speak with Clinton today in Las Vegas for a wide-ranging interview just days before the Nevada caucuses. In addition to the interview, Pelley will report from Las Vegas for tonight's broadcast, which will also feature new
CBS News polling on the presidential race. The poll will look at where the candidates stand, voters' views on their policies and how the voters rate the candidates on key issues and attributes.
Pelley has a key role in
CBS News' Campaign 2016 reporting, and will lead the Network's primetime coverage on March 1 for Super Tuesday. Last week, he conducted a revealing interview with Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders after he won the New Hampshire primary. Pelley also sat down with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who laid out key policy details and revealed a major part of his tax proposal.
