CBS Earns High Ratings for 13th Week

CBS placed first in households and viewers for the 13th time in 14 weeks as the Network claimed eight of the week's top 10 broadcasts and 14 of the week's top 20 - more than all of the other networks combined - according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 26, week 14 of the 2010-2011 television season.

CBS was first in households and viewers, tied for second in adults 18-49 and second in adults 25-54.

NCIS was the week's #1 scripted series in viewers and the #1 drama in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. TWO AND A HALF MEN was the week's #1 scripted series in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

For the 13th time in 14 weeks, CBS was first in both households (4.5/08) and viewers (7.12m). CBS was first in viewers on all five weeknights and second on Saturday and Sunday. For the week in viewers: CBS (7.12m), NBC (4.73m), ABC (4.94m) and FOX (5.22m). Season-to-date in viewers, CBS (12.01m) is ahead of ABC (9.00m), NBC (8.01m) and FOX (7.65m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (2.0/05, -0.1 behind FOX) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.4/04, with NBC). Season-to-date, CBS is first in both adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09), even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 compared to last season.

For the week in households: CBS (4.5/08), NBC (2.9/05), ABC (2.9/05) and FOX (3.1/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (7.3/12), ahead of ABC (5.6/09), NBC (4.9/08) and FOX (4.5/07).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

-- On Monday, CBS was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (7.40m), adults 25-54 (2.6/06) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.9/05, with FOX). CBS was first on Monday in households and viewers for the fourth straight week; the Network was first in adults 25-54 for the fifth week in a row.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (R) was second in households (4.0/06), viewers (6.35m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06).

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (R) was second in households (3.8/06), viewers (6.08m) and adults 25-54 (2.5/06); it was tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.9/05, with FOX).

TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) (9:00-9:31 PM) was first in households (5.8/09), viewers (9.22m), adults 25-54 (3.3/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.4/06, -0.2 behind NBC).

MIKE AND MOLLY (R) (9:31-10:01 PM) was second in households (4.6/07), viewers (7.35m) and adults 25-54 (2.6/06).

HAWAII FIVE-0 (R) (10:01-11:00 PM) was first in households (4.9/08), viewers (7.67m), adults 25-54 (2.3/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05).

-- On Tuesday, CBS was first in households (6.4/11) and viewers (10.08m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.6/07, with NBC) and second in adults 18-49 (1.9/06).

NCIS (R) was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (12.25m), adults 25-54 (3.1/09) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.2/07, with NBC). NCIS was the night's #1 program in viewers and adults 25-54.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES (R) was first in households (7.0/12), viewers (11.28m) and adults 25-54 (3.0/08); it was second in adults 18-49 (2.1/06).

THE GOOD WIFE (R) was first in households (4.6/08) and viewers (6.72m); it was second in adults 25-54 (1.8/05) and adults 18-49 (1.3/04).

-- On Wednesday, CBS was first in households (3.5/06) and viewers (5.43m).

CRIMINAL MINDS (R) was first in households (4.4/07), viewers (6.89m) and adults 25-54 (2.1/06) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.5/04, with ABC, -0.1 behind FOX).

THE DEFENDERS (R) was second in households (3.6/06), viewers (5.58m), adults 25-54 (1.6/04) and adults 18-49 (1.1/03).

-- On Thursday, CBS was first in households (4.5/08) and viewers (7.33m); the Network was second in adults 25-54 (2.1/06, -0.1 behind ABC). CBS won every half-hour in viewers.

THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) was first in households (4.6/09), viewers (7.93m), adults 25-54 (2.8/09) and adults 18-49 (1.8/07).

$#*! MY DAD SAYS (R) was first in households (3.7/07), viewers (6.13m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.1/06, with ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.4/05, with FOX).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (4.4/08) and viewers (6.99m).

THE MENTALIST (R) was first in households (5.0/09) and viewers (7.96m); it was second in adults 25-54 (1.9/06) and adults 18-49 (1.3/04).

-- On Friday, CBS was first in households (3.2/07) and viewers (5.28m); the Network was second in adults 25-54 (1.3/05) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (0.9/04, with ABC).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION SPECIAL (R) (S) (8:00-9:00PM) was first in households (3.0/07), viewers (4.97m), second in adults 25-54 (1.3/05) and adults 18-49 (0.9/04).

CSI: NY SPECIAL (R) (S) (9:00-10:00 PM) was first in households (3.1/07) and viewers (5.00m); it was second in adults 25-54 (1.3/04) and adults 18-49 (0.9/03).

BLUE BLOODS SPECIAL (R) (S) (10:00-11:00 PM) was first in households (3.6/08), viewers (5.87m), tied for second in adults 25-54 (1.5/05, with ABC) and third in adults 18-49 (1.0/04).

-- On Saturday, CBS was first in households (3.4/07), second in viewers (5.36m), adults 25-54 (1.2/03) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (0.8/03, with FOX.)

UNDERCOVER BOSS SPECIAL (R) (S) (8:00-9:00 PM) was first in households (5.1/09) and viewers (8.38m); it was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.5/06, with FOX) and third in adults 18-49 (1.7/05, -0.1 behind NBC) from 8:00-9:00 PM.

CSI: MIAMI SPECIAL (R) (S) (9:00-10:00PM) was first in households (4.3/07), second in viewers (6.79m) and adults 25-54 (1.9/05) and third in adults 18-49 (1.4/04).

THE MENTALIST SUNDAY SPECIAL (R) (S) (10:00-11:00 PM) was first in households (4.6/08) and viewers (7.30m); it was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.1/05, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (1.5/04, -0.1 behind ABC).
