The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is the only network evening news broadcast to grow year-to-year in adults 25-54 (+8%, 1.3/06 from 1.2/05), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 15.

ABC declined in the key adults 25-54 news demographic by -7% (1.4/07 from 1.5/07) while NBC stayed flat (1.6/07), compared to the same week last year.

Television year-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is the only network evening news broadcast up in viewers (+1%, 7.20m from 7.11m) compared to last year. NBC declined -1% in viewers (8.66m from 8.79m) while ABC stayed flat (8.47m).
