The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley posted year-to-year percentage increases among adults 25-54 (1.5/06 from 1.4/06, +7%), the demographic most important to those who advertise in News, as well as viewers (6.40m from 5.88m, +9%) and households (4.3/09 from 4.0/08, +8%), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 15. Editor's Note: The year-ago comparisons represent a three-day average (Monday-Wednesday) due to coverage of the NCAA basketball tournament on Thursday and Friday.
