The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is up +4% year-to-year in viewers (6.10m from 5.88m), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 31. The CBS broadcast added +220,000 viewers compared to the same week last year.
The
CBS broadcast improved its competitive position with
NBC by 310,000 viewers compared to the same week last year.
Television year-to-date, the
CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is up +3% in viewers (7.06m from 6.84m) and even in adults 25-54 (1.4/06) - the demographic most important to those who advertise in news - compared to last year.
