CBS is investing in the power of three.
According to Vulture, the network is currently developing a reboot of the hit WB series CHARMED, with PARTY OF FIVE's co-creator Chris Keyser and Sydney Sidnerwhich on board to re-write. So far, only a script has been ordered, with no promises of a filmed pilot.
The report notes that details are thin at the moment, though sources have confirmed the project will serve "as a 're-imagining' of the original series about a sisterhood of witches who use their powers for good."
The news comes just a day after NBC announced it would be rebooting its own beloved series MURDER, SHE WROTE, with Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer attached to star.
CHARMED ran for eight seasons between 1998 and 2006, with Alyssa Milano, Rose McGown, Holly Marie Combs, and Shannon Doherty starring.
