The two-hour season finale of THE AMAZING RACE 20 saw married teammates Dave and Rachel Brown cross the finish line first in historic fashion after winning a record eight legs.

The episode proved to be a ratings success for the CBS network, posting year-to-year increases in viewers and adults 25-54. From 8:00-10:00 PM, THE AMAZING RACE 20 was first in viewers (9.39m) and adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and second in adults 18-49 (2.6/07) with its season finale. Compared to last May's finale of THE AMAZING RACE 18, THE AMAZING RACE 20 was up +9% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/08), even in adults 18-49 and added +420,000 viewers (from 8.97m, +5%).

THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host, Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.
