CBS is sponsoring its first-ever Reality Mud Run, in which reality stars from CBS's hit series SURVIVOR, THE AMAZING RACE and BIG BROTHER will run alongside members of the general public to raise funds for cancer research through SURVIVOR's Stand Up To Cancer fundraising team. The 5K run will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Oak Canyon Park Blue Diamond Haul Road, in Silverado, Calif., near Irvine.

For the Reality Mud Run, CBS has partnered with Around the World Productions, which was founded by Burton Roberts, who competed in SURVIVOR: PEARL ISLANDS, and Alex Boylan, who competed in the second season of THE AMAZING RACE. The event is being sponsored by 7UP.

Reality stars set to participate include SURVIVOR's Ethan Zohn, Jenna Morasca, Amanda Kimmel, Burton Roberts, Yau-Man Chan, Natalie Tenerelli, Phillip Sheppard, Chad Crittenden and Joel Klug; THE AMAZING RACE's Uchenna Agu, Megan Rickey, Cheynne Whitney, Alex Boylan and Dennis Frentsos; and BIG BROTHER's Will Kirby and many more.

Details about the run and how to register can be found at www.RealityMudRun.com. Those who are unable to participate as runners but would still like to be part of the cause may donate through the site.

Last summer, CBS joined forces with Stand Up To Cancer, a charitable organization that raises funds for cancer research, to form a team called SURVIVOR SU2C. Ethan Zohn, who won SURVIVOR: AFRICA, competed in SURVIVOR: ALL STARS and recently overcame Hodgkin's lymphoma, is spokesperson for SURVIVOR's SU2C fundraising efforts.

Said Zohn, "It's very rewarding to be able to use reality television as a platform to bring together my friends and raise money and awareness for cancer research. The Reality Mud Run is a perfect event to bring everyone together, cast members and fans of SURVIVOR, THE AMAZING RACE and BIG BROTHER. This time we are competing for something greater - voting cancer off the planet. In the first year of collaborating, SURVIVOR raised about $75,000 for Stand Up To Cancer, and I know we will continue to raise funds to honor those we have lost like Laura Ziskin and Jenn Lyon, and those who continue their battle today."

Donations to the SURVIVOR SU2C team can be made year-round via www.standup2cancer.org/survivor.
