Film nominations from the American Society of Cinematographers Awards were announced today. The ASC Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography salute stellar work in theatrical features, television projects and student films, and also honor select cinematographers and other filmmakers for their career achievements.
The 30th ASC Awards ceremony will take place on Feb. 14, 2016, in Los Angeles. Whether you join us as a nominee, honoree or guest, you will be participating in the world's finest celebration of THE ART OF cinematography. The nominees for ASC film awards are as follows: "Bridge of Spies" (Janusz Kaminski)About ASC: The ASC was the first organization in the film industry to be devoted exclusively to furthering and honoring professional achievement. It is not a labor union or a guild, but an educational, cultural and professional organization. Membership is extended by invitation to those who are actively engaged as directors of photography and have demonstrated outstanding ability.
