CAMP CUTHROAT Among Food Network's August Highlights

August has never been hotter on Food Network with new series, stunts and epic finales! Kicking things off is the series premiere of Great American Food Finds on Monday, August 3rd at 10:30pm, as brothers Adam and Andrew Erace go on a search to find America's food treasures.

Then, the four finalists in the CHOPPED Grill Masters tournament face-off for the $50,000 grand prize in the not-to-be-missed finale on Tuesday, August 11th at 10pm. On Wednesday, August 12th at 9pm, host Alton Brown gets extreme with the premiere of special summertime series Camp Cutthroat, when the most elite CUTTHROAT KITCHEN contestants brave the wilderness and endure fiendish outdoor challenges for the chance at a spot in the finale and up to $75,000 cash.

Then, host Anthony Anderson hits the road to explore the country's best carnivals in new series Carnival Cravings with Anthony Anderson on Wednesday, August 12th at 10pm, followed by Curtis Stone embarking on an adventure of his own to discover delicious eats in new series Beach Eats U.S.A. premiering Wednesday, August 12th at 10:30pm.

Next up, Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis introduce THE NEXT Food Network STAR to America in the epic finale premiering Sunday, August 16th at 9pm. Guy Fieri also brings out the stars when Food Network and Cooking Channel culinary titans storm the grocery store aisles and go head-to-head to win up to $20,000 for their charity of choice in Guy's Grocery Games All-Stars premiering Sunday, August 23rd at 8pm. On Monday, August 24th at 8pm, RACHAEL RAY mentors talented young competitors through cooking challenges and adult-sized obstacles in the premiere of Rachael Ray's Kids Cook-Off to find the next Kids Cook-Off Champion! Premiering Thursday, August 13th at 10pm - "Sticking to Your Guns"
The competition heats up as Food Network's Curtis Stone and Sunny Anderson take no prisoners on their quest to beat Bobby Flay. They have brought farm-to-fork chef Clark Barlowe to go head-to-head with Italian chef Peter McAndrews, but who will claim victory?

Mario Batali shows host Michael Symon his favorite late-night indulgence at New York City's most classic burger joint. Then in Nashville, Michael learns the secrets of dry ribs, the classic Tennessee take on smoked meat. Then he visits his favorite hometown haunt, pairing Cleveland classics like bratwurst and pierogi with refreshing house-made brews.
Premiering Friday, August 14th at 10:30pm -"Sweet and Smokey"
Michael Symon starts in his hometown of Cleveland, where a place he went as a kid combines several classic sweets to make a one-of-a-kind dessert burger. Then in Brooklyn, he meets a smoked-meat lover who blends old school Jewish deli items with traditional Canadian-style dirty fries. Lastly, a barbecue institution in NASHVILLE is giving creamy mac' and cheese a juicy pulled pork kick.
Premiering Friday, August 21st at 10:30pm -"Hot and Spicy" - SEASON FINALE!
Michael Symon digs into a spicy burger that uses four different types of peppers to fire up even the most adventurous eaters in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. He then heads to Nashville, where he finds Southern comforts infused with Latin flavors in saucy and sweet chicken fried steaks and beer belly tacos. Finally, in rural Ohio, he discovers a husband-and-wife team who use chorizo to give their smoked meatloaf a crazy kick.

Cake Wars
Premiering Monday, August 3rd at 8pm - "LEGO"
It all begins with a brick as four talented cake bakers piece together incredible LEGO-themed cake creations. They compete in two jaw-dropping rounds for the chance to have their cake at the center of a massive party at the LEGO flagship store, as well as a $10,000 prize. Will everything be awesome?
Premiering Monday, August 10th at 8pm -"The Sound of Music"
Baking gets the musical treatment as four amazing cake artists take on the movie classic, The Sound of Music. They will compete in two challenging rounds for the chance to have their cake at the center of a massive party celebrating the 50th anniversary of the film, as well as take home a $10,000 prize. Premiering Monday, August 17th at 8pm -"Girl Scouts" - SEASON FINALE!
See whose Girl Scout cookie crumbles as four talented cake artists compete in two heart-stopping rounds to have their cake creation at the center of a massive celebration for the Girl Scouts of America, as well as a $10,000 prize. Is there a badge for winning Cake Wars?

Camp Cutthroat - Premiering Wednesday, August 12th at 9pm
In this special summertime series, Alton Brown invites the most elite CUTTHROAT KITCHEN alumni to a secret location deep in the wilderness for an extreme culinary throw down: this is Camp Cutthroat. Unencumbered by the restraints of a soundstage, Alton's diabolical sabotages, aided by his camp counselors, hit new levels of mischief and mayhem as he is now free to deploy any fiendish obstacle his heart desires.
Premiering Wednesday, August 12th at 9pm - "Camp Cutthroat: Porks and Rec" - STUNT PREMIERE!
Two chefs share a blindfold during a pork and beans challenge. Then someone finds out just what a bear does in the woods. Finally, one chef is followed by a very persistent dark cloud.

Premiering Wednesday, August 19th at 9pm - "Camp Cutthroat: Wet, Hot, American Sabotage"

Chopped
Premiering Tuesday, August 18th at 10pm - "Rock Stars"
Four rock stars with a passion for cooking (Lita Ford, Kelly Hansen, Eddie Ojeda and Dweezil Zappa) take over the CHOPPED kitchen in hopes of winning $10,000 for their favorite cause. In the first round, the cooks attempt to make harmonious appetizers with a bubbly drink. In the entree round, lamb is the jam. The final rock 'n' roll-themed round has the competitors cooking with rock candy and lemon rolls.

Chopped Grill Masters
Premiering Tuesday, August 4th at 10pm - "Grill Masters: Episode Four"
Perfectionists and pitmasters collide in this final preliminary battle before the Grand Finale! Spare ribs play the lead role in the appetizer basket. Then a specially-sourced, whole fish barely fits into the entree baskets. The judges are plum happy to see plums in the dessert basket.

Premiering Tuesday, August 11th at 10pm - "Grill Masters: Grand Finale" - TOURNAMENT FINALE!
The four finalists in the Grill Masters tournament are facing off for the $50,000 grand prize. Rattlesnake is the VICIOUS surprise in the first round. Some offal and some fruit are part of the culinary puzzle to solve in the entree round. A breakfast item and a classic pie beg to be transformed in the last round of the tournament.

Chopped Teen Tournament - Premiering August 25th at 10pm
In this returning five episode stunt hosted by Ted Allen, sixteen talented teenaged chefs bring their energy and ambition to the CHOPPED kitchen! The culinary whiz kids must create the perfect appetizer, entrée and dessert as they navigate through each round. The winner from each episode will head into the grand finale round with a huge prize on the line - $25,000 and a culinary school scholarship. The teen chefs are given ingredients that would stump even top professionals, and in the end, only one can be named the CHOPPED Teen Champion.
Premiering August 25th at 10pm - Teen Tournament: Episode One - TOURNAMENT PREMIERE!
In this first preliminary competition, a strangely fuzzy ingredient is one of the surprises awaiting the young chefs in the appetizer round. Then in the entrée round, a challenging protein must be paired with a processed cheese. The judges become increasingly concerned for the last two teens, who encounter a number of problems combining chips and candies into yummy final dishes.

It is all downhill for three chefs in a bobsled. Then, someone finds themselves making more than Swedish meatballs. Finally, one chef learns that peanut butter and jelly is not child's play.

One chef makes vegetable soup in a kitchen sink. Then, two chefs make Philly cheesesteak and really get on a roll...literally! Finally, a molasses cookie challenge slows the chefs down.

Premiering Sunday, August 16th at 10pm - "Stop, Drop and Flambe"
One of the firefighter chefs gets hosed in the chili cheese fries challenge. Then, a burning buffalo chicken sandwich factory fires up the contestants. Finally, the chefs' dishes go up in flames.

Premiering Sunday, August 23rd at 10pm - "The Truck Stops Here"
Four food truck chefs get locked in a breakfast sandwich showdown. Then, the contestants must face a double-decker burrito battle. Finally, one chef gets the scoop on their opponent and it is not pretty.

Two chefs rumble on ancient Greek rubble. Then, it is the blind leading the blindfolded in a seafood risotto challenge. Finally, the remaining contestants face a head-to-head battle that is nothing but monkey business.

Premiering Friday, August 3rd at 10pm - "Best of the Beach"
This trip, Guy goes coastal for the best eats on the beach. He reels in everything from the freshest catch in Florida and Mexico, to Hawaiian open-air barbecue and a taste of Cuba in Miami. Plus, Guy samples New England seaside sensations like killer crab cakes, regional chowder, and legit fried clams. Put on the sunscreen because this one is going to be a scorcher!
Premiering Friday, August 7th at 10pm - "From Biscuits to Brisket"
This trip, Guy Fieri digs into stick-to-your-ribs comfort food. In Atlanta, a down-home joint cooks up righteous chicken and biscuits and house-cured lox. Across town, a twin-brother team fires up Southern grub like a brisket burger and chicken-fried ribs. In Fort Collins, Colorado, a funky cafe serves up vegetarian specialties like tomatillo and chickpea pizza and a savory cauliflower steak.
Premiering Friday, August 28th at 10pm - "Homeland Favorites"
This trip, Guy Fieri celebrates homeland favorites from all kinds of diverse cultures. In Richfield, Minnesota, a Mexican restaurant-market combo dishes out tasty tacos al pastor and carnitas tamales. In Denver, a Greek joint cooks up delicious lamb ribs and a unique dessert. In Atlanta, a Southern spot serves up their spin on shrimp and grits.

Food Network Star
Premiering Sunday, August 2nd at 9pm - "Live TV"
In live television, there are no second takes - so this challenge is do-or-die. The finalists are assigned a theme and must demo a dish reflecting that theme, all live to-camera. Jeff Mauro and Katie Lee then join Bobby and Giada to view the contestants hosting their own segment of a live ensemble show. The least successful performer is sent home.
Premiering Sunday, August 9th at 9pm - "Dish of a Lifetime and Pilots"
The winner of Star Salvation rejoins the competition, while the final four choose a sous chef from the eliminated contestants to help them cook the single best dish of their life. They each have one take to present the dish on-camera, and Bobby, Giada, Bob and Susie choose the final three that will each film a pilot directed by special guest Rachael Ray.
Premiering Sunday, August 16th at 9pm - "We Have a Winner" - SEASON FINALE!
The nine eliminated finalists return to view the pilots along with Bobby, Giada, Susie and Bob. Each pilot is screened and after the selection committee deliberates, Food Network President Brooke Johnson announces the winner - the next Food Network Star.

From Santa Monica to Sedona and Santa Fe, tasty stops from Texas to Tulsa and an epic showdown in Chicago for the finale, this season is going to be nothing short of unforgettable! In the end, only one professional truck will emerge victorious with $50,000 cash in hand and bragging rights! Host Tyler Florence returns to mentor, challenge and eliminate teams along this grueling 2,500 mile route. America's favorite road trip competition show is back!
Premiering Sunday, August 23rd at 9pm - "Route 66: All-American Road Trip" - SEASON PREMIERE!
Seven teams of food truck owners start THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE selling their signature dishes on the Santa Monica Pier. They then embark down historic Route 66, stopping in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, for their first Truck Stop Cooking Challenge. The first team to sell 20 orders of their twist on fish and chips will get a bonus that might be enough to keep them safe from elimination.
Premiering Sunday, August 30th at 9pm - "Off-Road Eats in Arizona"
Before the six remaining teams make it to Flagstaff, Arizona, host Tyler Florence calls them up to let them know that their first challenge is underway. The team who sells the most in Flagstaff will get a one-hour head start to their next stop, Sedona, Arizona. In Sedona, the teams must make a dish incorporating the local delicacy, rattlesnake and rabbit sausage, and leave the comfort of their trucks to sell from Pink Jeeps.

Guy's Grocery Games
Premiering Sunday, August 2nd at 8pm - "Young Guns Showdown"
Four of the nation's best young gun chefs seek to make their mark in the market. First, they have to make a Fusion dish combining two cuisines not usually seen together. Next, these hot shots must make a daring dish following the dictates of rolled dice. The finale is easy as 1, 2, 3, when the two remaining chefs must prepare potatoes two ways using ingredients from only three aisles.

Premiering Sunday, August 9th at 8pm - "Par for the Shoptacle Course"
Four chefs enjoy an American food fest in Flavortown market. First, they must navigate a "shopstacle course" of boxes, unstocked items and shopping carts to make a burger and side featuring Guy Fieri's Red Light Special -- dehydrated food! Next, the chefs must make an upscale dinner with a scaled-down list of ingredients that start with the letter S. The final two chefs roll out their dish using the condiment and dairy items dictated by a roll of the dice.

Premiering Sunday, August 16th at 8pm - "Flippin' Out in the Kitchen"
Four chefs kick off Guy Fieri's games by making a lavish Italian feast with only four pounds of ingredients. Next, the chefs flip out when they find they must turn the core ingredients of a Caesar salad into a breakfast dish! Then, the final two play the dreaded Food Wheel which forces them to prepare a meal combining salmon with ingredients from a single aisle.

Guy's Grocery Games All-Stars - Premiering Sunday, August 23rd at 8pm
In this five-episode stunt, some of Food Network's and Cooking Channel's biggest stars take over the grocery store aisles for an all-star supermarket showdown! Host Guy Fieri throws in some curveballs when all-star chefs are paired up with sports stars in one episode, while in another episode, Guy's Grocery Games judges must go head-to-head. It will be a Flavortown fight-to-the-finish as these culinary superstars compete to win up to $20,000 for their charity of choice.
Premiering Sunday, August 23rd at 8pm - "All-Stars: Flavortown Flips Over the Judges!" - STUNT PREMIERE!
Guy Fieri turns the tables on the show's All-Star judges by making Richard Blais, G. Garvin, Beau MacMillan and Aarti Sequeira compete in the kitchen! First, they must eat their words and prepare an international lunch using only items that begin with the letters P and Z! Then, they must prepare a decadent dinner using only ingredients from the produce aisle. The two finalists must prepare a family meal that includes three strange ingredients from the Fieri Food Pyramid. The winning judge learns how challenging the Shopping Spree really is as they race to earn money for their charity of choice.

Premiering Sunday, August 30th at 8pm - "All-Stars and A-Lister Dinners"
Culinary titans Anne Burrell, Eric Greenspan, Jet Tila and Marcel Vigneron are not spared Guy Fieri's twists when a bowling game selects some strikingly bizarre ingredients for a hearty lunch. Next, the chefs have to think outside the boxed foods and make their best dish using processed items from the middle aisles of the store. Then, the chefs experience real highs and lows when the feared Food Wheel determines the high-end and low-end ingredients in their A-list dinner. The winning All-Star chef goes on a shopping spree for charity worth up to $20,000.

Rachael Ray's Kids Cook-Off - Premiering Monday, August 24th at 8pm - SERIES PREMIERE!
Host RACHAEL RAY is joined by a rotating panel of all-star guests in this special six episode series where the challenges are big and the competitors are - kids! Host Daphne Brogdon loves breakfast, just not first thing in the morning, so she dishes up breakfast for dinner! ON THE MENU are Olive Oil-Fried Eggs with a Spanish Pantry Sauce that satisfy morning, noon or night. Then, she prepares two great sides that taste great together - Crispy Hash Browns with Smoky Sauce and Ham and Egg Fried Rice.

Daphne Brogdon hatches a clever plan to keep the kids interested during a "fancy" dinner party. On her menu are Porterhouse Steaks accessorized with a Creamy Leek Sauce, Oven-Roasted Crispy Potatoes partnered up with Fancy Butter, and Easy Creamed Spinach that might not win over the kids, but will make the adults smile. For dessert, Daphne prepares Maple Pudding topped with Bourbon Whipped Cream.

Daphne Brogdon invites family friend Eric Garcetti and his family over for dinner. There is a little added pressure, since Eric is now the Mayor of Los Angeles, but she puts together a menu highlighting the best that Los Angeles has to offer. For an appetizer, she makes Seared Yellowtail with Horseradish Cream. Then she celebrates the fresh produce and diversity of the city with a Farmers' Market Salad and a Korea Town-Adjacent Pasta. For dessert, she dishes up a Very Berry L.A. Tart.
Premiering Sunday, August 23rd at 11:30am - "Road Trip Ready"
Daphne Brogdon and the family are heading out on a road trip, and Daphne prepares some delicious snacks and car-friendly food for the road. First up, Hello Dolly Empanadas are a savory delight that fit in your hand. Then, she makes two simple yet delicious road trip sandwiches, Roast Beef with CUCUMBER and Chive Cream Cheese, and Ham and Cheddar with Dill Butter. Toffee Pecan Cookies sweeten up the trip, and a fizzy Clementine Crush refreshes the roadtrippers.

Farmhouse Rules
Premiering Saturday, August 22nd at 10:30am - "Boxcar Beauties" - SEASON PREMIERE!
Nancy Fuller shows her grandkids how things are done on the farm and in the kitchen! The kids first learn how to tractor-plant seeds fresh in the soil of the farmland. Then, back in the kitchen, they learn how to make easy and delicious dishes any kid could master including Fresh Vegetable Lasagna with Spinach and Zucchini, Chicken Taco Pacos, Crinkle Cut Carrots and Zesty Herb Dip. For dessert, they enjoy chocolaty Creep Critter Bars, and then it is time for a boxcar race after dinner!

Nancy Fuller is hosting a book drive in her barn for the local library; she hires a band and invites the whole community. She makes some of her favorite catering classics, including Creamy Crab and Bacon Endive Boats, Chicken Divan Casserole, Apple Puffs with Meringue and tasty Milk Punch.

Giada in Italy
Premiering Sunday, August 2nd at 11:00am - "Poolside Picnic"
Giada De Laurentiis prepares a picnic that she and her daughter, Jade, enjoy together poolside. The portable menu features Sweet and Tangy Orzo Salad, Grilled Chicken and Broccoli Pesto Panini and Double Chocolate Brownies.
Premiering Sunday, August 9th at 11:00am - "Dino's Pasto Factory"
Giada and her Aunt Raffy visit the Southern Italian town of Torre Annunziata, where Giada's great-grandparents once owned a pasta factory. They head back home to make some dishes inspired by the day, including Linguine with Anchovy and Walnuts and Fusilli with Fresh Pomodoro.
