Maybe I'm just an old-school sports fan, but as baseball's Fall Classic kicks off tonight, I am incredibly excited, even though I am not particularly a fan of either team. That being said, there are a lot of other fun things going on on TV tonight. Our Tuesday "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks highlights a reality show coming into form, a "brotastic" drama, and a sitcom that has hilarious commercials. So, what will you be watching tonight?

Finally, last night, THE VOICE delivered a goosebump inducing performance (check out my recap here). Tonight the NBC singing competition wraps up its Battle Rounds with six performances, even though we will only see three. Gwen Stefani is the only coach who still has a Steal remaining, so there will be a lot of drama around that Hollaback Girl tonight!
The Word Series: Kansas City Royals vs. San Francisco Giants | 8:00-11:00pm | FOX

Not only will this series not generate a lot of interest amongst BroadwayWorld fans, but it is not expected to generate a lot of interest amongst sports fans. However, that is not a comment on the quality of these two teams. They have both been incredibly strong during the playoffs, and each have a lot to play for; the Giants are looking for their third WORLD SERIES in five years, and THE ROYALS are looking for their first in 29 years. I am going to go with the underdog Royals. After all, they've got Lorde on their side.
SUPERNATURAL | 9:00-10:00pm | The CW

Jensen Ackles directs this week's brand new episode of SUPERNATURAL as Sam continues to fight to save his brother from the Mark of Cain. A desperate Crowley seeks out an unlikely ally in Castiel. Hopefully there will be a lot more bro-hugging this week.
ABOUT A BOY | 9:30-10:00pm | NBC

I've never watched the TV show ABOUT A BOY; heck, I've never watched the movie ABOUT A BOY, but they consistently put out some of the funniest commercials on a weekly basis. In this week's promo, the titular boy (played by Benjamin Stockham) delivers a hilarious line reading about a spork; and that in and of itself, might just get me to tune in. Join me, won't you?
