Busy Phillipps to Guest Star on ABC's 'APARTMENT 23'

TVGuide.com reports that Busy Phillipps will guest star on the second season premiere of the ABC comedy DON'T TRUST THE B---- IN APARTMENT 23. The episode will mark a reunion between the actress and her 'Dawsen Creek' co-star James Van Der Beek. Phillipps will play herself on the series.

Show creator Nahnatchka Khan recently revealed that he would love to see a full cast 'Dawson' reunion, including such stars as Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes. "We have a big season premiere episode that's dealing with James potentially trying to do a Dawson's reunion and his version of what that would look like." 

Phillipps is best known for her supporting roles on the TV series Freaks and Geeks and Dawson's Creek. She has also appeared in the films The Smokers (2000), Home Room (2002) White Chicks (2004), and He's Just Not That Into You (2009). She currently portrays Laurie Keller in the TV series Cougar Town for which she won a Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Critic's Choice Television Award in 2011.

Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 returns Tuesday, October 23 at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
