Hosts of the CBS Daytime talk show THE TALK are traveling across the country to present a week of special episodes shot on location in New York City, to air Monday, Dec. 12 through Friday, Dec. 16 (2:00 PM, ET / 1:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Co-hosts Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler will shoot a week of holiday-themed shows originating from the Grand Foyer of Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
Throughout the week, THE TALK will feature celebrity guests, along with drop-in appearances from famed New York personalities, including Kim Cattrall, Andy Cohen, Michael Emerson, Samuel L. Jackson, Gayle King (“CBS This Morning”), Paul Shaffer, Brooke Shields, Donald Trump, Donnie Wahlberg and Patrick Wilson, among others.
From food to fashion and even a taxi or two, THE TALK hosts will highlight all the elements that make New York City one of the best places to ring in the holidays with special segments to air each day during the week. Sharon Osbourne will fulfill a lifelong dream and be transformed into Mary Poppins with the cast of the hit Broadway production; Julie Chen will unveil her “Top Chen” list of holiday gift items; and the studio audience will receive thousands of dollars in take-home gifts. Viewers at home will also get a chance to win the items. In addition, co-host and comedienne Sheryl Underwood will interact with locals for man-on-the-street segments to get the New York point of view on the latest topics in the news in “Sheryl Takes It To The Streets.”

CBS’s daytime talk show features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities having The Talk about current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, how-to demos and appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.
