Two Broadway names are in the mix for the full cast of Cinemax's BLANCO drama pilot, starring Shiloh Fernandez. The Hollywood Reporter writes that A TIME TO KILL's Sebastian Arcelus and THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT's Elizabeth Rodriguez have signed on for the project.

Also in the cast are Franka Potente (The Bourne Identity), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), Erik LaRay Harvey (Boardwalk Empire), Audrey Esparza (The Following) and Alex Hernandez (Law & Order: SVU).
BLANCO follows a gangster named Ruben (Fernandez), aka Blanco, who works as a confidential informant for law enforcement but ultimately uses his position as a means to gain power over his criminal empire.
Rodriguez will be NYPD Detective Stephanie Gomez, and Arcelus is set to play Blanco's lawyer Andy Silver.
Potente will play Blanco's girlfriend Leslee. Nolasco will portray Blanco's brother Jesus. Esparza will play Jesus' girlfriend Veronica, with Harvey as NYPD Detective Mike LeBeau and Hernandez as Blanco's "associate" Nando.
With a script from Mark Rosner, the pilot will be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
Before his starring role in this season's A Time to Kill, Arcelus appeared on Broadway in Elf - The Musical, Jersey Boys, Good Vibrations, Wicked and Rent, as well as off-Broadway's The Blue Flower, Happiness and more. Arcelus' TV credits include the Netflix original series House of Cards, Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego! Go!, Person of Interest and more. He has appeared on the big screen in The Last Day of August and Temptation.
Rodriguez has also appeared off-Broadway in Unconditional, A View From 151st Street, Beauty of the Father, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Robbers. She currently stars on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black. Among her past TV credits are Prime Suspect, Law & Order: SVU, All My Children, ER, and more. Her upcoming big screen projects include The Drop and Glass Chin.
