FULL CIRCLE's Brittany Snow is the latest original cast member to sign on for PITCH PERFECT 3, set to hit theaters on July 21, 2017, with stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson also returning.
Snow confirmed Variety's exclusive report on Twitter, writing, "My hair was never gunna stay blonde anyway. More songs with our mouths ;)"
We can't wait to welcome back the red-headed Bella!
PITCH PERFECT 2 featured an ensemble cast including Kendrick, Wilson, Snow, Hailee Steinfeld, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Chrissie Fit, Kelley Jakle, and Shelley Regner as The Bellas, an all-female a cappella singing group at Barden University.
Elizabeth Banks, who also appears in the movies, helmed PITCH PERFECT 2, which has grossed over $282 million since its opening earlier this spring, with $115.4 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing musical comedy film, overtaking SCHOOL OF ROCK. The first PITCH PERFECT film debuted in 2012 and took in $113 million, which puts it at No. 3 in the rankings.
The sequel was produced and directed by Banks and written by Kay Cannon, loosely based (like the first film) on Mickey Rapkin's non-fiction book, Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory.
No word yet on whether the other stars or director will come back for the third installment, but BroadwayWorld will keep our ears to the ground for more news on The Barden Bellas' return!
