Britney Spears to Judge on X Factor?

Billboard reports that Britney Spears is in talks to judge on next season's The X Factor. Her agent/fiance Jason Trawick is negotiating the deal. The contract could be signed as soon as next week, but producer and judge Simon Cowell would not confirm that Spears is in negotiations to become a judge. 

According to Billboard, "Spears is signed to Sony Music's RCA Records, which absorbed her original label Jive in 2011 and has exclusive music rights to 'X Factor' artists."

Past judges on The X Factor include Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul,  and L.A. Reid.
