On the eve of Founder Paul Newman's birthday, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and Board Member Bridget Moynahan will ring the NYSE CLOSING BELL at 4PM today.
The Camp, which was founded in 1988 to provide "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and their families, will be on hand in celebration of Paul Newman's legacy and the evolution of Hole in the Wall's year-round programs, now serving more than 25,000 children and family members throughout the Northeast annually - all free of charge. Moynahan, star of the hit CBS drama BLUE BLOODS and author of the recently released BLUE BLOODS Cookbook, will be joined by a group of Hole in the Wall campers, longtime supporters and fellow Camp Board Member Melissa Newman, Paul's daughter.
"Each year, our Founder's birthday is an opportunity to celebrate his enduring impact on the children and families in our care," said Camp CEO Jimmy Canton. "We are honored to join Bridget, our campers and friends as we remember Paul Newman and the many gifts that he continues to bestow on us."
The New York Stock Exchange will stream the CLOSING BELL ringing on its website: http://livestream.com/NYSE. The bell-ringing is scheduled for 3:56 p.m. Eastern Time. A video of the bell-ringing will also be archived on that same page after the livestream.
