An all-new episode of THEATER TALK features an interview with actor Brian d'Arcy James - now in the hit Broadway show SOMETHING ROTTEN! and in the Oscar-nominated Best Picture SPOTLIGHT - and a segment with three cast members - Tracee Chimo, David Furr and Campbell Scott - of the rollicking farce, NOISES OFF.

D'Arcy James, new to THEATER TALK, has been able to span serious and comedic musical roles on Broadway with aplomb. This year, he is also on screen playing Boston Globe data journalist Matt Carroll, a principal character in the film Spotlight, which is up for 6 Academy Awards. He discusses landing that Screen Actors Guild Award-winning role, as well as his ongoing acclaimed appearance as Nick Bottom in the Broadway musical Something Rotten! In addition, he talks about his brief but significant Off-Broadway gig, creating the role of King George III in the musical smash Hamilton and his decision to leave that runaway hit to star in Rotten!

Next up, actors Chimo, Furr and Scott share their experiences rehearsing and performing Michael Frayn's exacting farce Noises Off, now at the Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre, providing a fascinating background to anyone who has seen the highly physical and superbly timed comedy. Tracee Chimo confesses to having "comedy bruises." David Furr says the actors "need an immense amount of faith in the rehearsal of this play," primarily because everyone must be serious about the timing. Any mishaps so far? Yes, there have been a few, which seemed funny to the audience in the context of the play, but not to the actors while they were happening.
