Breaking: THE BACHELOR's Chris Soules Joins 20th Season of DANCING WITH THE STARS

PEOPLE has confirmed that Chris Soules will become the 12th celebrity contestant for the 20th season of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS. According to the report, he will team with pro dancer and reigning champ, Witney Carson. A spokeswoman for ABC declined to comment on the report.

Soules joins a tradition of Bachelors and Bachelorettes who have participated on the dance competition including
Sean Lowe, Jake Pavelka and Melissa Rycroft, winner of the DWTS All-Stars competition.

Soules will reveal his favorite Bachelorette on THE MARCH 9th finale of the show. He joins previously announced DWTS contestants Robert Herjavec (Shark Tank), singer Patti LaBelle, model Charlotte McKinney, football player MICHAEL SAM and Rumer Willis, and more.

Dancing with the Stars returns to the ABC line up on March 16th.
