'Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn to Guest on THE MINDY PROJECT

E! reports exclusively that Breaking Bad star Anna Gunn is set to guest star on the upcoming 13th episode of FOX's THE MINDY PROJECT.

According to the report, the actress will portray Mindy's idol 'Sheila Hamilton', described as a "high-profile Doctor Who treats an exclusive clientele made up of New York's rich and famous, the glamorous, powerful and philanthropic Sheila will try and poach Mindy from Danny (Chris Messina), Jeremy (Ed Weeks) and the rest of the gang over at Shulman & Associates."

The Mindy Project airs Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.

In September, Gunn received an Emmy award for her portrayal of Walter White's wife Skyler on AMC's drama series Breaking Bad, which ended its run last month.

She also played a recurring role as Assistant District Attorney Jean Ward on the ABC series The Practice from 1997 to 2002, and was a regular as Martha Bullock on HBO's Deadwood from 2005 to 2006. She appeared on Seinfeld in the episode "The Glasses", in the Six Feet Under episode "Parallel Play", and on the first season of Murder One.

Gunn provided The Voice for Ariel in the Legacy of Kain series of video games.[4][5][6][7] She also appeared in the Quantum Leap episode "The Play's The Thing". In 2011, she played a lead role in the Lifetime movie Secrets of Eden, opposite John Stamos.[8] Her other film credits include Without Evidence, Enemy of the State, Treading Water, Twelve Mile Road, and Red State.
