Bravo Media's "Inside the Actors Studio" hosted by James Lipton, commemorates the life and career of legendary actor and comedian Robin Williams with a special broadcast of his appearance on the Emmy Award-winning series tonight, August 21 at 8pm ET/PT.
The episode originally aired on Sunday, June 10, 2001, and for the 250th episode of "Inside the Actors Studio," fans chose Williams' appearance as their favorite in a poll on BravoTV.com.
Look back at the episode below:
"There are so many reasons to grieve the loss of
Robin Williams," Lipton said. "One of the saddest is that he takes with him the multitude of characters he created - fifty two of them in a three minute span in the film 'Aladdin.' If it is true that an actor's talent lays in the role choices he or she makes, Robin's talent was unmatchable. But we already knew that, didn't we?"
