Meet their Guide:
Jill Spivack
Truly a mother's best friend, Jill has made a career out of her biggest passion in life: helping parents be the best they can be. After earning her Master's Degree at the University of Southern California and completing a post-graduate fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center's Early Childhood Department as a Psychotherapist, Jill Spivack (LCSW) co-founded the pediatric sleep firm Childsleep in 1999. Recognizing that today's parents were lacking the essential support, education and sense of community necessary to do their best, Jill was later inspired to co-found Sleepy Planet Parenting in Los Angeles. In addition to helping parents of children with behavioral sleep problems find practical solutions, Jill uses Sleepy Planet as a space for parents to seek advice on a variety of topics, including the transition to parenthood, sibling rivalry, marital issues and maintaining work-life balance. Jill co-wrote the award-winning book and DVD, The Sleepeasy Solution, which has been endorsed by celebrity clients including Jack Black, Marcia Cross, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children and her awesome dog, Otto.
Meet the Mommies:
Beth Bowen
Born and raised in Fresno, California, Beth fell in love with acting at the age of 12 when she joined an improv team at school. She maintained an active lifestyle and moved to Southern California after graduating high school, where she dove into various acting and modeling opportunities in television, film, commercials and print campaigns. Beth was married at the age of 23 and was a mother to four children by the age of 32. She takes on a stepford mom approach to parenting and is going through a divorce while also battling the tragic loss of her mother. This life-changing event brought Beth back to her passion for health and wellness with an ultimate goal to inspire others and help make their health and fitness a priority. Beth currently resides in Palos Verdes, where she has decided to kick her wellness career into full force.
Jen Bush
Originally a stylist and writer focusing on music, fashion and beauty, Jen Bush put her career on hold to become a wife and homemaker after finally meeting who she thought was her "Prince Charming." Shortly after her son was born, the marriage ended abruptly and the fairy tale came crashing down. Jen was left to pick up the pieces and is now creating a happy ending for herself and her son Rivers, who was named after her former client, lead singer of Weezer. She is working on getting her mojo back and jumping back into the dating scene, while juggling a live-in father and practicing attachment parenting.
Meghan Conroy-Resich
Raised traveling the world and encouraged to explore nature, this Seattle native relocated to Los Angeles for college which is where she met Nick, her husband and favorite drinking partner. Never taking themselves too seriously, Meghan and Nick have an uninhibited, no-limits approach to parenthood, attempting to lay-down-the-law with their active brood that seems immune to their rules. A modern, free-spirited, stay-at-home mom, Meghan is the CEO of the house and fun. Meghan is a loving and supportive wife, a patient chauffeur, nurse, mediator, connoisseur of cheap wine and a soccer fan.
Stefanie Fair
A professional child actress and former member the popular girl-group Wild Orchid which she formed with Fergie, Stefanie Fair is now the mother of three boys and a girl, all under the age of nine. Hailing from Granada Hills, California, she currently resides in Los Angeles with her record executive husband, Ron Fair, and enforces marriage first when it comes to parenting. Combining the roles of wife, mother, songwriter, performer and Children's Entertainment Executive for Baby Genius Brands, Stefanie defines today's working mom by balancing a career, family, fitness, and friendships.
Leah Forester
A California girl, Leah's career as a stylist spans 20 years of working with artists, brands, magazines, private clients and celebrities. Beginning in New York under the mentorship of Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch and Vera Wang, Leah decided to take a break and devote herself to the "art of motherhood" after the birth of her twins. Motherhood is the inspiration that drives her to create a playful family life, brimming with adventure, nutritious food and artistic expression, which also shapes her work outside the home. She's devoted to Buddhism, creativity, and the good life. Her most recent venture is the Venice Supper Club, a roving dining experience born out of her Venice Studio that combines food, style, and the arts. Leah resides in Venice, California with her husband, film producer Bill Johnson and their twins, Jett and Jade.
Alisa Starler
A former Creative Executive at a film company working with top players in the industry, Alisa Starler is a Los Angeles native who values her relationships with family and lifelong friends. While going from premieres to play dates has certainly been a change of pace, she couldn't be happier with her latest role as mom. Alisa is first and foremost a mother to her son, Greyson. Motherhood is her calling and something she has waited for her whole life. She believes that anything you do should be driven by passion, which guides her toward finding her next career path.
