Bravo Media cooks up a battle of secrets and knives in its newest culinary competition series RECIPE FOR DECEPTION premiering Thursday, January 21 at 10pm ET/PT. Judges Chris Oh and Jonathan Waxman join host Max Silvestri in this fast-paced and innovative competition show where a chef's ability to lie is almost as important as their culinary skill. In each episode, Silvestri guides four new chefs through three head-to-head elimination rounds in which they are tasked with creating a stunning dish featuring a main ingredient. The twist is that they have no idea what that ingredient is while they are cooking. Based on the popular parlor game "Two Truths and a Lie," competing chefs ask each other three "yes or no" questions to determine what their mystery component is, and their opponent answers strategically with two truthful answers and one outright lie. Judges Oh and Waxman grade the chefs on their final dishes based on overall quality and how well they incorporate their secret ingredient. In the final round, eliminated chefs have a chance to scheme their way back into the competition by trading potentially valuable information about the undisclosed ingredient for a chance at the $10,000 prize.

The season will include a special Celebrity Chef episode (airing February 25) where Hollywood stars Coolio, Steve Howey of "Shameless," Lou Diamond Phillips and Alanna Ubach of Bravo's "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce" show off their chops in the kitchen. Additionally, four Master Chefs play their hand at the competition (airing January 28) including Lorena Garcia, Rick Moonen, Art Smith and Bryan Voltaggio. Josh Altman, star of Bravo's "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" and Andy Buckley, star of Bravo's "Odd Mom Out," will appear as guest judges.
