Bravo to Debut New Reality Series THE PEOPLE'S COUCH This March

Variety reports exclusively that Bravo will premiere an all-new reality series THE PEOPLE'S COUCH this March. The cable network has put in a 12-episode order for the new series based on the UK show 'Gogglebox.' The news follows a three-segment test run of the program which Bravo conducted in October.

According to the report, in each episode of the series, "cameras are turned on real TV viewers, as audiences get a glimpse into viewers' reactions to shows like TLC's "Untold Stories of the E.R." The show's format will also be similar to the Youtube "reaction video" phenomenon, first made popular by "2girls1cup" videos which went viral in 2007.

"The People's Couch" will be produced by Studio Lambert and All3Media America. Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman, Tania Alexander and Aliyah Silverstein will serve as executive producers.
