Bravo Media delivered record ratings on Tuesday night as the season premiere of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" garnered 2 million total viewers and 1.1 million P18-49, up 25 percent and 36 percent respectively from the prior season premiere (11/4/13) and marking its highest-rated season premiere in over three years among total viewers, according to Nielsen. Behind the strength of Tuesday night's season five premiere, Bravo earned its best Tuesday prime in over two years (7/10/12) and was the #1 cable entertainment network during the 9pm hour among P18-49.
Immediately following at 10pm, "Watch What Happens Live," hosted by Andy Cohen with guests Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof, who all appeared in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premiere episode, delivered 1.4 million total viewers. Rounding out the night, "The People's Couch" earned 703,000 total viewers, up 19 percent compared to the previous week (11/11/14). Socially, the network ranked as the #2 most social cable reality network in prime with "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (#2) and "The People's Couch (#4).
This performance continues the recent successes of "The Real Housewives" franchise after "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season seven debut (11/9/14) earned the network's highest-rated season premiere in
Bravo history with over 4.5 million total viewers L3 and 2.7 million P18-49 L3, up 26 percent and 27 percent respectively from the season six premiere.
