Boyfriend of GLEE's Becca Tobin Found Dead in Philadelphia Hotel Room

TMZ reports that the boyfriend of GLEE's Becca Tobin, Matt Bendik was found dead Thursday night in a Philadelphia hotel room. Tobin portrays 'Katty Wilde' on the FOX musical dramedy

According to the report, the couple was in Philly on business and were out celebrating on Wednesday night before returning to their hotel room. On Thursday afternoon, a maid discovered Bendik's body.

The Philadelphia Medical Examiner confirmed that Bendik's body was found, but gave no other details on his mysterious death.

Bendik managed several major clubs around the country. He was also the Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub in Los Angeles and a co-owner of AV Nightclub. Friends told the site that he was not known as a "partier" and are devastated and shocked by the news of his death.

Reps for the actress have not responded to requests for comment.

Coincidently, this month marks the one-year anniversary of the death of GLEE's Cory Monteith, who died from a drug overdose in his hotel room in Vancouver.
