Deadline reports that screenwriters Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy have acquired the feature rights to the upcoming book BOSTON STRONG, which recounts the city's response to the horrific events which transpired at the Boston Marathon on April 15th.

The book is being co-written by author Casey Sherman and Boston Herald reporter Dave Wedge and will center on The Hunt for the two brothers believed to be the culprits behind the bombings. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who survived the all-out manhunt in which his brother, Tamerian Tsarnaev was fatally shot, was captured on April 19. The events leading up to his arrest were broadcast live on televisions across the country.

The book is scheduled to be published sometime in 2014 by University Press of New England. Michael Prevett of the Gotham Group, Adam Levine of Verve Talent and John Ivey of Altus Marketing & Management negotiated the agreement with the authors.
