Premiering a new staging of one of William Shakespeare's most popular stories, the celebrated Bolshoi Ballet graces the big screen with ROMEO & JULIET, debuting in cinemas nationwide for one day on Sunday, January 21. Captured live from Moscow's legendary Bolshoi Theatre earlier that same day, the production is the fourth in the 2017-18 Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema Series, presented by Fathom Events in partnership with BY Experience and Pathe Live.
Bringing audiences romance, intrigue and drama, Bolshoi's detailed adaptation of Shakespeare's heart-wrenching tragedy showcases the passion and precision of an all-star cast set to the beloved cinematic score by
Sergei Prokofiev and choreographed by one of the world's most sought-after dancemakers and former Bolshoi Ballet artistic director Alexei Ratmansky.
